How it works
- 1
Order your profile
You receive the test request by email within minutes, in the name of the person who will have the test.
- 2
Go to any partner centre
With the test request and your passport or ID. No appointment, and nothing more to pay there: sample collection and analysis are included.
- 3
Receive your results
Within the time stated on each profile. The laboratory sends you a text message to download them securely.
Bear in mind
A protocol and a consultation are different things. Here you choose a profile designed in advance to answer a specific question. In a consultation, a doctor assesses your case and decides what to request for you.
What we are asked most
- Do I need a referral or a prescription?
- No. The test request is signed by the doctor who designed the profile and is included in what you order. You do not need a Spanish health card or a GP either.
- Do I have to book an appointment?
- At almost no centre. It is only needed in Cádiz, Chiclana de la Frontera, Ibiza, Oviedo, Ronda and Santiago de Compostela. It is also needed for special tests such as breath tests and the glucose tolerance test, because they require specific staff and times. In any case, it is stated on each profile page and on each centre.
- How long do results take?
- Most take one to two working days. Some specific tests take longer, and each profile page says how long before you order.
- Can I order it for someone else?
- Yes. The test request will be in their name and they will have to show their own ID or passport at the centre.
- What if I end up not having the test?
- The test request is valid for three months, and if the date passes you can ask for a new one at no cost during the six months after your order. As long as you have not had your sample taken, you have fourteen days from your order to withdraw and get a full refund.
- How do I know which blood test to choose?
- The catalogue has a section, “Where to start”, with one blood test per topic: the one we have designed to answer that question first. Each profile page also shows when it is recommended and when it is not.
- What happens if a value comes back abnormal?
- If a value is alarming, the laboratory alerts the doctor who signs the test request, as well as sending you your results. However, we do not routinely review results or interpret them. Interpreting a whole blood test and explaining what it means in your case requires a medical consultation. If you wish, you can book a consultation with Dr. Antonio Mas on the doctor's website.
- Who has access to my data?
- The laboratory, which needs your name and ID document to identify the sample, and the doctor who signs the test request. Results never enter this website: it records which profile you ordered, not what your results were. How your data is processed.

That is the whole process. All that is left is to choose the profile.
